Hospital „hadzi Nadzija Karabegovic-Agusevic“

In the time of trasition after the year 2000 and democratic changes in Serbia,Novi Pazar loses its economic power,people start to sink in poverty.Nowadays almost the half of the population live at the brink of a social greif.The most endangered are the old,pensioners,refugees,unemployed,who are more every day.They are not able to provide even a minimum of the health care for themselves and their families.

One of the ways to help these social categories is the foundation of humanitarian hospitals by the Hadzi Nadzija Karabegovic-Agusevic Fund.It is at the same time the continuation of a human idea of helping in educating the young people,primarily on medicine and stomatology who would,with their work in that hospital give their contribution to the further humanitarian work of the fund and reduce the unemployment.

Such a health institution with up-to-date principals of medical science,modern diagnostics and therapy methods would significantly reduce the risk of cardio-vascular and malignant diseases which are the main cause of the mortality of the population of this region.It would offer health care in the fields of general medicine,pediatry,internal medicine and other activities as well as the prevention of the drug addiction,the threatening diseases which are extremely spread out especially amoung the young population.

So,the existing of such an institution in Novi Pazar represents a moral answer to the challenges of today.

This project will not have only a local singnificance but we want it to have a regional one,too for the communities of Sjenica,Tutin,Raska as well as for all who call for help regardless which part of Srbia they come from.Novi Pazar has been developing the humanitarian charitable activity since the far past which depended on the financial position of the town.That has been the pride of our town for all this time.

Inside the health work of the Hadzi Nadzija Karabegovic-Agusevic Fund we give the special review on the plan of the opening Humanitarian Health Center.

Before we elaborate the conceived future Health Center work which will offer the Health service to the population,we want to inform the public that the offering of health service to the people of Novi Pazar by the Agusevic family originate from the far 1807.

The Agusevic Hospitals were located at the place of today's Trade Center.In these Health insitutions the service was offered to all the citizens regardless their national determination.In these hospitals were treated the Muslims,the Orthodox,the Christians,the Cincars and others.

As the beginning of the realisation of the activities for the creation of the Health Center is planned very soon,there is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the important jubilee-the period of two centuries 1807-2007 of the health service offering to the citizens of Novi Pazar by the Agusevic family and now inside the Fund.

As a particular act of help towards the most needed ones, we are proud to present the new project of the HNKA humanitarian hospital.

The hospital offers medical care of adults,pediatrical care, internal ,stomatological, ginecological care, as well as departements of diagnostical sonography and radiography.

The personnel of the future Health Center will make the finished students of medicine and stomatology who used the schoolarship of the Fund.The personnel potention gives the full safety that the citizens will be offered the health services at high levels.
